Why Bizzy Bone Stepped Away from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony

Bryon Anthony McCane II, best known as Bizzy Bone, was a founding member of the Cleveland-based rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony. Their career peaked when their tribute to recently deceased mentor Eazy-E, “Tha Crossroads,” won a Grammy in 1997. After the success of that hit single cooled, Bizzy Bone left the group.

Many rumors circulated over the reason behind his departure. In his interview with Oprah: Where Are They Now?, Bizzy Bone clears up exactly why he stepped away from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
