One of the most successful musical groups of the 90s, Boyz II Men is still drawing crowds decades later. The artists have been together since high school—an astronomically long time in boy band years—but group member Wanya Morris says they’re more than just bandmates. “The relationship that we have with each other, it’s a brotherhood,” he says.
The members of Boyz II Men have grown up together, making their band name perfectly fitting. But how did they come up with the name? “I happened to be listening to a song called Boys to Men,” member Shawn Stockman tells Oprah: Where Are They Now? “When it came on, it just felt like a conceptual type of title for a group.”
